Set up is a snap. You can connect it to your TV or home theater hardware via component audio/video cable or HDMI, and your home network wirelessly or with an ethernet cable if your house is wired with cat5. You’ll need a video streaming service account like Netfix or Hulu Plus and will have to run through a quick registration process via their website once connected. If you are connecting directly to your TV, set up will probably take about 30 minutes.
Services supported include Netflix, Hulu Plus, Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, Amazon Video, Pandora Radio, UFC and more.
Three models are offered: HD, XD, XD|S. Although the most expensive of the three at $100, I would recommend the XD|S. The XD|S gives you full 1080p HD capability as well as compatibility with the newest wifi technology and both wifi frequencies – 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
